We came across an interesting article all about the biggest mixer ever made my Lodige.

"Having a total length of 11 meters and a weight of approx. 60 tons, this machine is the biggest that Lödige has ever built in more than 75 years history, if not the largest horizontal mixer ever built worldwide. The intensive mixer of type KM 57.000 will operate in a steelworks in India."

Has 300 litre working capacity and 600 litre total capacity.

Mixing chamber 630 mm diameter x 2000 mm long.

Has carbon steel jacket 85 litre capacity rated 5 bar design pressure at 158 degc.

Stainless steel ploughshare blades belt driven by 15 kw 380 volt 3/50 1500 rpm motor and sew type r100p gearbox.

Includes (3) stainless steel multiple blade choppers direct driven by 5.5 kw 380 volt 3/50 3000 rpm motors.

Has (2) side inspection doors. 

Includes electrically driven weir plate discharge direct driven by motor and gearbox. 

Unit mounted on mild steel support frame with (4) wheels.

Also includes control panel.

Last used on detergent.

Throughput performance approximately 18 m3/hr with 1 minute residence time.
